Rozvadov 1621: Výzkum bojiště třicetileté války - Václav Matoušek

Veduta - Němec Bohumír - <p>Na bojišti u Rozvadova je zachován početný a unikátní soubor raně novověkých polních opevnění, který nemá v českých zemích obdoby. Systematický průzkum vybrané části bojiště pomocí detektorů kovů přinesl velmi důležité poznatky jak o místech a charakteru dílčích bojových operací, tak o výzbroji a výstroji armád. Mimo jiné i unikátní nálezy dělostřeleckých projektilů a početný a ojedinělý soubor ženijního nářadí. Výsledky terénního archeologického výzkumu doplnilo studium obsáhlého souboru písemných pramenů k bitvě a analýza unikátního souboru kartografických a ikonografických pramenů. <br /> <br /> The Rozvadov battlefield features a large and unique set of well-preserved early modern field fortifications, which is unparalleled in the Czech lands. Systematic survey of a selected part of the battlefield with metal detectors has brought very important insights into the locations and character of individua combat operations as well as weapons and equipment of early modern armies. Aminy other things, unique finds of artillery projectiles and a large and unique set of engineering tools. The results of field archaeological research were complemented by the study of a comprehensive set of written sources for the battle and the analysis of a unique collection of cartographic and iconographic sources. </p>
